Deposit, Cancellation and Refund Policy
Our policy regarding deposits, cancellations, and refunds is outlined below:
1. Once the hire has commenced, our Terms and Conditions of Hire (the Rental Agreement) apply. The following also applies and should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions of Hire: (a) In the event of an accident, we are not obligated to provide a replacement vehicle or refund the balance of the hire term. We may provide a replacement vehicle at our discretion if the accident is not the fault of the hirer or nominated driver (subject to bookings). (b) If the hirer wishes to terminate the hire early, we are not obligated to provide a refund for the balance of the hire period.
2. If a deposit has been taken, the following cancellation policy will apply: (a) If canceled within seven 24 hours of the hire commencing, there will
be no refund (b) If canceled before one (1) day of the hire commencing, a full refund less an administration fee will be provided. However, the vehicle owner may, at their discretion, grant a full or partial refund within (a).
3. Cancellation advice must be provided in writing, which includes emails. We will respond to confirm the cancellation of the hire and, where applicable, provide details of any charges made under this policy.
4. If a confirmed booking is made and the hirer fails to show up, the full hire cost is payable by the hirer.
The refund policy applies to all these deposits.
